Mental Health Access Point (MHAP)

If you are a Hamilton County resident and need help with a mental health problem, call this number first.

MHAP opens the door to accessing mental health services in Hamilton County. It provides diagnostic services, counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatric/medication services and case management services to both children and adults. MHAP strives to provide care and support for individuals, couples and families who need mental health services. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, answering calls and connecting clients to appropriate services. Crisis response services are available in an emergency.

The mission of MHAP is to ensure a standardized entry into a managed system of care where services are available, accessible and of high quality. It links to other systems so that persons and their families receive services seamlessly. MHAP strives to assure that the right client receives the right service at the right time. MHAP services are available to clients regardless if they have mental health insurance or not.

MHAP respects the dignity of all persons and provides services accordingly regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.

MHAP is funded by the Hamilton County Community Mental Health Board.

If you are a Hamilton County resident and need help with an alcohol or drug problem, call this number first.

RHAC can provide information and help in accessing services for assessment and treatment of alcohol and other drug problems. RHAC is also able to provide transitional case management services for persons waiting to enter a treatment program. Information and services are available for adults, adolescents and families.

RHAC operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. RHAC is funded by the Hamilton County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board.
